【Cambodia】 Draft ESF Documents for Consultation
Shanti Volunteer Association (SVA) Cambodia plans to implement the Nurturing Early Skills through Technology (NEST) project under the Japan Social Development Fund (JSDF), administered by the World Bank.
The project aims to enhance access to and the quality of Early Childhood Education (ECE) by promoting play-based learning through the integration of digital technology.
In line with the World Bank’s environmental and social standards, SVA has prepared a set of Environment and Social Framework (ESF) documents.
These documents are essential tools for identifying, assessing, and managing potential environmental and social risks and impacts throughout the project lifecycle.
As part of the preparation process and prior to the upcoming community consultation, the following draft ESF documents are disclosed for public review:
Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF)_NEST
Environmental and Social Commitment Plan (ESCP)_NEST
Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP)_NEST
These draft documents are available in full text and in English for a 7-day disclosure period from 18 to 25 July 2025.
Feedback on the draft documents is welcome and can be submitted to:
