This is a project history of the community library project in Burmese Refugee Camp along the Thai border that started in 2000. This project history was created to compile the findings through about 20 years project from 1999 to the present in 2023 and disseminate the current situation.


No.16 Promoting Learning through Play and Environment in Early Childhood Education in Cambodia

This paper introduces the project for “Quality Improvement of Early Childhood Education at State Preschools in Battambang Province, Cambodia”, implemented as a JICA Grassroots Technical Cooperation Project from 2016. It shows how the project aimed to materialise the concept of “Learning through Play and the Environment” in Cambodia and its contribution to the cognitive/non-cognitive development of children.
