[Cambodia] Disclosure of the Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF) for the NEST Project
Shanti Volunteer Association (SVA) Cambodia Office is implementing the Nurturing Early Skills through Technology (NEST) Project, financed by the Japan Social Development Fund (JSDF) and administered by the World Bank. The Project is being implemented from May 2026 to March 2030. The project aims to enhance access and quality of early childhood education in the target districts by promoting learning through play employing digital technology.
In accordance with the World Bank’s Environmental and Social Framework (ESF), SVA has prepared and finalized the Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF) for the Project. The ESMF outlines the procedures and measures for identifying, assessing, and managing potential environmental and social risks and impacts associated with project activities in accordance with the World Bank’s Environmental and Social Standards (ESSs).
As part of SVA’s commitment to transparency and stakeholder engagement, the ESMF is hereby disclosed and made publicly available.
